COVID-19 has infected over 17 million Americans so far in 2020. And even those of us who haven’t tested positive for COVID-19 have seen virtually every aspect of our lives upended by the coronavirus pandemic.

In this climate, you are likely looking for ways you can stay safe and healthy, and protect those around you. That extends to your car service—how can you stay safe while using a luxury car service or chauffeur limousine?

Fortunately, with the right precautions, a car service can be kept quite safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. Here’s a closer look at what car services are doing to stay safe—and how you can help.

Clean and Safe

As a chauffeur car service, we are proud to follow the guidelines laid out by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding the coronavirus.

First and foremost, that means requiring our drivers to stay home if they experience any COVID-19 symptoms, or if they or their loved ones test positive for the virus. Our drivers also must practice all basic health precautions—including wearing a mask, washing and sanitizing their hands often, and keeping their car handles, keys, and other items clean.

We are also taking great care to sanitize the interior of our cars in between each use. We are not putting out magazines, pamphlets, or any other materials that passengers might be tempted to touch, as we do not want to contribute the spreading the virus.

Finally, we are asking our drivers to keep a distance of at least six feet from our passengers. That means your chauffeur won’t shake your hand upon arrival—we miss being able to extend this courtesy, but we see it as a necessity to protect your health.

How Our Car Service Customers Can Help

Want to do your part to prevent the spread of COVID-19? Here are a few ways our customers can partner with us:

  • Wear a mask when inside our vehicles, and use hand sanitizer or wash your hands early and often.
  • Keep a distance of six feet from your driver.
  • If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms—or if you or a loved one tests positive—stay home, rather than using our car service.
  • Use tissues if you do cough or sneeze as a passenger, and take those tissues with you and dispose of them once the ride is over.

We know all these restrictions are difficult to get used to—but if we all work together, we can help limit the spread of COVID-19.

You Can’t Be Too Careful
