Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI)
BWI often has the best fares into the region, but it sits about 30 miles from DC. A private RDV chauffeur picks you up at the curb right outside baggage claim, loads your bags, and drives you directly to your hotel, office, or home anywhere in Maryland, DC, or Northern Virginia. We run 24/7 with real-time flight tracking and vehicles from executive sedans to full-size coaches. RDV Limousine has served the DMV for more than 20 years.
How Your BWI Pickup Works
- Book online or by phone. Send your flight number, passenger count, luggage, and destination. Your trip is confirmed in writing with the rate, vehicle, and pickup details.
- We track your flight. Dispatch watches your flight from departure to landing. If it arrives early or late, your chauffeur's arrival time changes to match. You don't need to call.
- You get your chauffeur's details. Before pickup we text you your chauffeur's name and cell number, so you can reach them as soon as you land.
- Meet your chauffeur at the curb. Once you have your bags (or have cleared customs on an international flight), text your chauffeur and walk out to the curb right outside baggage claim on the lower level. Your car pulls up there, which is the fastest way out of BWI. Want your chauffeur to park and meet you inside with a name sign? Add meet & greet service when you book for an additional fee.
- Curb to door. Your chauffeur loads your luggage and drives you directly to your destination. There are no shared stops and no surge pricing.

BWI Car Service FAQ
How do I find my chauffeur at BWI?
Pickups at BWI are curbside, right outside baggage claim on the lower level. That's the fastest and most convenient option at BWI. You'll get your chauffeur's name and cell number by text before you land. Once you have your bags (or have cleared customs on an international flight), text your chauffeur and walk out to the curb. If you'd like your chauffeur to park and meet you inside with a name sign, add meet & greet service when you book for an additional fee.
What happens if my flight is delayed or arrives early?
We track every inbound flight in real time and change your pickup time to match your actual arrival. You don't need to call us about a delay.
How long is the drive from BWI to Washington, DC?
BWI is about 32 miles from downtown Washington. Off-peak the drive takes about 45–55 minutes. Weekday rush hour can push it past 90 minutes.
How much does a car service from BWI cost?
The rate depends on your vehicle, destination, and time of day. You get a flat rate in writing when you book, so you know the total before you ride. For an exact rate, request a quote online or call 202-528-5233.
How early should I schedule a pickup for a departing flight from BWI?
Plan to arrive at BWI 2 hours before a domestic flight and 3 hours before an international flight. Add your drive time and a rush-hour buffer. When you book, we'll suggest a pickup time based on your address and departure time.
Do you offer service for very early or late-night flights?
Yes. RDV dispatches 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays. Reserved pickups are guaranteed, unlike rideshare, where availability drops in the early morning.
Do you serve Virginia and DC from BWI, or only Maryland?
We serve the whole region. Most of our BWI trips go to DC, Montgomery County, and Northern Virginia, and we also cover Baltimore, Annapolis, and Columbia.
Do you also serve Dulles (IAD) and Reagan National (DCA)?
Yes. See our Dulles airport car service and DCA airport car service pages. We also run transfers between airports for connecting travelers.
